Fyne Futures Ltd was delighted to be awarded £2,500 from the Supporting Communities Fund. The project has been led by Amanda Thornburn, Employability Coach and Steve Kemp, Volunteer Co-ordinator. Centred around volunteering and food sharing, the programme is entering its final weeks of operation and the team are preparing the end report.

There have been seasonal celebrations – Halloween, Christmas, Burns Night, bringing people together through the short days, with last event being a summer BBQ. The project piloted led foraging events which were well attended. The project has been successful in bringing people together, improving health and wellbeing and tackling food insecurity and poverty with dignity.
Thank you Fyne Futures for sharing a great update. Find out more on their own website here
