Scotland’s first ever National Islands Plan was published in 2019 and it is now going through its first review. The review may lead to the publication of a new National Islands Plan (NIP) and it is vital that the views and feedback from those most impacted by the NIP – island communities, relevant sectors and partners – can inform and engage with this work going forward.
The consultation is available online with a closing date of 7 November and you can access it here.
The Scottish Government Islands Team is also running a series of island and virtual workshops over September and October, with a final hybrid session planned for the Scottish Rural & Island Parliament in Fort William over 1 to 3 November.
