The new draft National Islands Plan alongside the Implementation Route Map has now been laid before the Scottish Parliament and is to replace the 2019 version.
With a core focus on population retention and attraction, the updated plan outlines a programme of actions designed to address both the challenges and opportunities across Scotland’s island communities.
