Earlier ths year the SIF Board had an information session on R100 with Mark Vale of Tiree Broadband. The session highlighed that while good progress has been made in many part of Scotland, those of us living in the islands (and Highlands) still have a long wait ahead.
The R100 rollout plan for the islands should be available soon but until it is in place, many people will not yet know if and when they can access R100 and in the meantime, due to eligibility criteria and the scarcity of providers that can genuinely deliver in island areas, are limited in their access to the voucher scheme.
